The Chicago Chess Foundation wants to invite all K-8 Chicago chess players to participate in our online scholastic chess tournament events throughout the school year. Two Saturdays per month we will be hosting fast-game events through the ChessKid.com platform. Each event will consist of three different levels:

Novice Tournament: Tournament for players with a ChessKid rating of 1000 or under.

Intermediate Tournament: Tournament for players with a ChessKid rating of 1250 or under.

Advanced Tournament: Elective tournament for players with any ChessKid rating, but this is for players that have won multiple trophies at different levels in our CCF tournaments.

Please note that these tournaments MUST BE ACCESSED THROUGH A BROWSER and not a mobile device of any kind (phone, tablet, etc.) Visit, https://www.chesskid.com/tournaments/how-to-join-live-tournaments for more information on technical recommendations for participating in this tournament. In April, we did have a number of technical difficulties, but if players use a Google Chrome browser, we should be able to avoid a number of these problems.
