Tournament Location Guide

St. Rita High School

*Please have your volunteers sign up at (https://chicagochessfoundation.org/tournamentvolunteer) to receive communication and instructions.

Parking: You can enter into the parking lot at the back of the school from Western Avenue. Follow the signs for visitor parking to arrive in the lot on the west side of the building (behind the school).

Entrance: Door #15. Please do not try to enter the building through any other doors. 

Sign-in tables: Just inside the front doors of door #15.

Opening Announcements: In the auditorium. The entrance to the auditorium is just next to where the check-in tables are located.

Skittles area: Skittles will be in the dining hall, McCarthy Center and the hallway connecting them. All parents and Coaches will be required to stay in the skittles area throughout the tournament. Only parents and coaches of K-1 players will be permitted to enter into the playing hallways to accompany their players to the VLC for their games.

Tournament playing area: K-1st grade players will play in the VLC, located by the entrance at Door #15. Novice players 2nd - 8th grade will play in the 1st floor hallways. Intermediate and Advanced players will have their games in room 115, at the end of the hallway where 6th - 8th grade games are played.

Volunteer Room & TD Room: Room 114.

Food sales: Food will be available for purchase in the McCarthy Center. There are also vending machines there. Please be aware that we are guests in this space. Whenever we are eating or drinking, please make sure we clean up our areas.
