Tournament Location Guide

Parking: We have access to the IIT (Illinois Institute of Technology) parking lot adjacent to the west side of the school. The entrance to the parking lot is located on the north side of 35th street. If you are headed east on 35th Street from the Dan Ryan expressway, you will see the parking lot entrance on your left just before the school. The school is located at the northwest corner of Michigan Ave. and 35th St. The sign on the lot says “IIT. “

Entrance: We will be using the courtyard entrance, which is near the playing fields, behind the school. The entrance is also attached to the athletic facility. The entrance does not face the street, so please follow the below directions carefully:

From the parking lot: Proceed through the pedestrian gate on the east side of the 

parking lot and continue east until you reach the entrance.

From the bus drop-off: Buses will drop you off just north of the school on Michigan Ave. 

Walk west from the parking lot between the baseball field and the building. Then follow 

the sidewalk south along the building to the courtyard entrance.

Sign-in tables: Will be located just inside the doors at the courtyard entrance.

Skittles area: Everyone will be using the Commons (cafeteria) on the first floor, which will be located just down the hallway to the left of the sign-in tables. There will be no team rooms available for this tournament.

Tournament playing area: We will be utilizing a number of different rooms at the school for playing areas. We will have signs demarcating the different rooms and board numbers for each section throughout the school on the day of the tournament.

Tournament Directors room: Room 101. Restricted access will be permitted only to volunteers and invited participants.

Volunteer Room: Adjacent to the commons room in the faculty lunchroom.

Food sales: Will be available in the fieldhouse concession stand located just inside the entrance from the courtyard area

Trophy presentations: Trophy presentations will happen once a section finishes their 5th round. We will not be waiting for all of the sections to finish before starting the trophy presentations. Trophy presentations will be done in the Commons outside of the volunteer room.
